Common use of Act of God Clause in Contracts

Act of God. In the event that the Center is unfit for occupancy by User during the period covered by the Agreement, by reason of fire, earthquake, strike, civil disturbance or any other cause beyond the control of the Center, then this Agreement shall be of no further force and effort. The Center, as well as the Queen Creek Unified School District, will not be liable for any costs other than to refund a deposit, in the event that the Center is unfit for occupancy by a User.
