ACTING INCUMBENT. 44.01 To receive acting incumbency pay, an academic staff member shall be designated by the Employer to perform the principal duties of the higher level position for a minimum period of five (5) consecutive work days, during which time they may also be required to perform some of the duties of their regular position. On completion of the minimum five (5) day qualifying period in an acting incumbency position, an academic staff member shall be eligible for acting incumbency pay for the total period of acting incumbency, including the five (5) day qualifying period. Acting provisions shall not apply where an academic staff member is designated only limited additional duties.
