  • Instructors 7.1. All instructors teaching COLLEGE’s courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement must meet the minimum qualifications for instruction in a California community college as set forth in Sections 53410 and 58060 of Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations, and be hired by the CLPCCD. 7.2. The CCAP Agreement Appendix shall specify which participating TUSD or COLLEGE will be the employer of record for sole and limited purposes of assignment monitoring and reporting to the county office of education. 7.3. This CCAP Agreement specifies the TUSD will assume reporting responsibilities pursuant to applicable federal teacher quality mandates. 7.4. Instructors who teach COLLEGE’s courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement must provide the supervision and control reasonably necessary for the protection of the health and safety of students and may not have any other assigned duty during the instructional activity. 7.5. Instructors who teach COLLEGE’s courses at TUSD shall comply with the fingerprinting requirements set forth in Education Code section 45125.1, and the tuberculosis testing and risk assessment requirements of California Health and Safety Code section 49406. In addition to any other prohibition or provision, no person who has been convicted of a violent or serious felony shall be eligible to teach any courses offered as part of this CCAP Agreement or otherwise provide services on a TUSD site. 7.6. Prior to teaching, faculty provided by the TUSD shall receive discipline-specific training and orientation from COLLEGE regarding, but not limited to, course curriculum, assessment criteria, pedagogy, course philosophy, testing and grading procedures record keeping, and other instructional responsibilities. Said training shall be approved by and provided by the COLLEGE. 7.7. Faculty provided by the TUSD will participate in professional development activities sponsored by COLLEGE as required by the terms and condition of the contract and shall be encouraged to participate in ongoing collegial interaction to include, but not limited address course content, course delivery, assessment, evaluation, and/or research and development in the field. 7.8. Faculty performance shall be evaluated by COLLEGE using the adopted evaluation process and standards for faculty of the COLLEGE, subject to the approval of CLPCCD. 7.9. COLLEGE may select instructors from TUSD personnel. TUSD personnel selected to be instructors remain employees of the TUSD, subject to the authority of the TUSD, but will also be subject to the direction of CLPCCD specifically with regard to instruction and assessment provided for the COLLEGE courses.

  • APPRENTICES/TRAINEES 25.1 Apprentices/Trainees shall be entitled to all of the applicable rates and conditions of employment prescribed by this Agreement. 25.2 For clarification, in addition to the rates in APPENDIX 1, Trainees are entitled to receive full Daily Travel, ▇▇▇▇, BEWT, CIPQ, Superannuation and any other entitlements in accordance with this document. Such entitlements shall not be paid at rates applicable to Apprentices. 25.3 Training arrangements for Apprentices/Trainees shall be as provided in the Building and Construction General On-site Award 2020. 25.4 Apprentices/Trainees shall be entitled to be paid the daily fares and travel allowance whilst attending training. 25.5 The Employer shall be responsible for meeting all costs associated with Apprenticeship/Traineeship training, including any student registration, tuition fee or other course costs. 25.6 During the first year of an Apprenticeship, tools to the minimum retail value of $600.00 shall be supplied by the Employer within a period of three months after the expiry of the probationary period or within a period of six months from the date of commencement of the employment, whichever first occurs. 25.7 During the second and subsequent years (or part of a year) of apprenticeship tools to the retail value of $600.00 shall be supplied by the Employer within a period of three months from the commencement date of each such year (or part of a year) of the indentured Apprenticeship. 25.8 Where an Apprentice has entered a Competency Based Training Agreement, the provision of tools will be on the following basis: (a) During the term of Apprenticeship, an Employer shall, in respect of each level of the apprenticeship program, supply the Apprentice with tools of trade, to a minimum retail value of $600.00. (b) The supply of tools of trade for each level of the program shall be linked to the successful achievement of competencies or, where appropriate, the demonstration of approved levels of progression towards the achievement of competencies as prescribed by the relevant National Training Package or in the relevant Award. (c) Supply of tools will occur no later than three (3) months after the expiry of the probationary period or within a period of six (6) months from the date of commencement of the employment, whichever first occurs, and no later than three (3) months into subsequent levels of the apprenticeship. (d) Apprentices employed under part-time or school based arrangements shall be entitled to a supply of tools consistent with the requirements as outlined in clause 25.6 and clause 25.7 above.

  • Training Courses 16.4.1 Training courses, as well as the minimum and maximum numbers of trainees per course provided for the Buyer’s personnel, are defined in the applicable training course catalog published by ANACS (the “Training Course Catalog”) and will be scheduled as mutually agreed upon during a training conference (the “Training Conference”) that will be held as soon as practicable after signature of this Agreement and no later than May 31, 2007. AVA - A320 Family PA AMENDED AND RESTATED 16.4.2 The following terms will apply when training is performed ANACS: (i) Subject to 16.4.2(ii) below, training courses will be standard Airbus courses as described in ANACS applicable Training Course Catalog valid at the time of execution of the course. ANACS will be responsible for all training course syllabi, training aids and training equipment (not to include aircraft) necessary for the organization of the training courses. (ii) Where ANACS agrees to perform training using Buyer’s standard courses, Buyer will be responsible for taking all steps necessary to assure approval by applicable Aviation Authorities of such training (including any needed approvals of specific ANACS instructors). (iii) The training curricula and the training equipment used for flight crew, cabin crew and maintenance training will not be fully customized but will be configured in order to obtain the relevant Aviation Authority’s approval and to support the Seller’s training programs. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the training curricula used for training performed under such circumstances shall enumerate any differences that exist between the non-customized material and Buyer’s detailed specification. (iv) Training data and documentation necessary for training detailed in Appendix A to this Clause 16 will be and will not be revised. Training data and documentation will be marked “FOR TRAINING ONLY” and as such will be supplied for the sole and express purpose of training. (v) Upon the request of the Buyer [*], the Seller will collect and pack for consolidated shipment to the Buyer’s facility, all training data and documentation of the Buyer’s trainees attending training at the Seller’s Training Center. This training data and documentation will be delivered [*]. It is understood that title to and risk of loss of the training data and documentation will pass to the Buyer [*]. 16.4.3.1 If the Buyer decides to cancel fully or partially or reschedule, a training course, a minimum advance notification of at least [*] calendar days prior to the relevant training course start date is required. 16.4.3.2 If such notification is received by the Seller or ANACS less than [*] but more than [*] calendar days prior to such training, a cancellation fee corresponding to [*] of such training will be deducted from the training allowance defined in Appendix A to the extent sufficient allowance then remains, with any balance invoiced at the price corresponding to such training in the then current ANACS Customer Services Catalog. 16.4.3.3 If such notification is received by the Seller less than [*] calendar days prior [*] of such training will be deducted from the training allowance defined in Appendix A to the extent sufficient allowance then remains, with any balance invoiced at the price corresponding to such training in the then current ANACS Customer Services Catalog. 16.4.3.4 [*]
