Additional and Relief Work. ‌ (a) Regular employees will, in seniority order, have the right of first refusal for additional work for which they are qualified providing it does not disrupt their regular schedule, unless by mutual agreement. (b) If additional hours of casual work are required as a result of short-term peak periods or leaves of absence then such hours shall be offered on a rotational basis to qualified casual employees. (c) The Employer must keep appropriate records (including the date/time/position of the vacancy, date/time of notice of the vacancy, date/time of offer of the vacancy, name of person offering the vacancy, names of employees offered the vacancy, and if employees accept/decline/don’t respond) and make them available in the event of a dispute. (d) All positions vacant due to an absent employee shall be backfilled, with the exception of CLICK positions which may be backfilled.
