Additional Leave Entitlements. The University will provide leave to staff with pay for the following reasons in accordance with the University’s policy. The provisions of this clause do not extend to casual employees. Veteran’s Leave An employee with an illness caused by or related to war service as certified by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs and a registered medical practitioner. Leave of 112.5 hours on full pay per annum, accruing to a maximum of 337.5 hours as approved by the Vice Chancellor or nominee.
Additional Leave Entitlements. From time to time BuzzFeed may implement leave policies that exceed the minimum entitlements under the Canada Labour Code. Employees may be eligible to take leave pursuant to such policies and the terms and conditions described therein. Such policies may be modified or eliminated by BuzzFeed in its sole discretion and without negotiation with the Union.
