ADDITIONAL LEAVE FOR NONINDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT OR ILLNESS. REEMPLOYMENT PREFERENCE A regular classified employee who has exhausted all entitlement to personal illness and injury leave, vacation, compensatory overtime, or other available paid leave, and who is absent because of nonindustrial accident or illness, shall be granted an unpaid leave of absence for six (6) months. At the expiration of the unpaid leave of absence, the employee shall be placed on a reemployment list for a period of 39 months.
