Additional Tests and Surveys. The Designer shall be responsible for reviewing the surveys, investigations, testing and reports completed by the Owner and as provided under Article 3.4, and determining the types of additional or expanded surveys, investigations, or testing required for the Project. Such services shall be provided by qualified specialty Subconsultants as necessary. Both the types of services and the Subconsultants shall be approved by the Owner. In the event that the Designer employs the services of a Subconsultant to provide such services, the Designer shall employ such Subconsultants who have the professional liability insurance coverage described in paragraph 15.8.1 covering such services, to the extent that such insurance coverage is generally available to Subconsultants. The Designer shall, upon the Owner’s written request, assign to the Owner the Designer’s contractual right to pursue a claim against such Subconsultants. Such services shall be paid for as provided in Article 8 – Extra Services unless such services are specifically included as Basic Services in the RFS. Such services may include but need not be limited to: 4.11.1 Site surveys; 4.11.2 Structural tests and materials tests; 4.11.3 Geotechnical and geoenvironmental investigations and reports, including existing buildings hazardous material reports, boring tests, test pits, observation xxxxx, testing and chemical analysis of site substrate conditions;
