Additional TLS Functions. There are several optional functions in TLS that can be used to increase security. These have to be implemented server-side. Figure 7 shows the support of several of these functions between 2013 and 2015 by the surveyed banking sites. The functions found in the survey and some missing functions are each described briefly.
