Adherence to State and Federal Laws Regulations. (1) General Subrecipient accepts full responsibility for payment of any and all unemployment compensation, insurance premiums, workers' compensation premiums, income tax withholdings, social security withholdings and any and all other taxes or payroll withholdings required for all employees engaged by the Grantee in the performance of the work and activities authorized by this Agreement. Subrecipient accepts full responsibility for providing workers with proper safety equipment and taking any and all necessary precautions to guarantee the safety of workers or persons otherwise affected.

Adherence to State and Federal Laws Regulations. The relationship between the parties is solely that of independent contractors, not partners, joint venturers, employees, agents, or otherwise. Neither shall have any authority to bind the other in any manner, and shall not represent or imply that it has such authority. Subcontractor accepts full responsibility for payment of any and all unemployment compensation, insurance premiums, workers' compensation premiums, income tax withholdings, social security withholdings and any and all other taxes or payroll withholdings required for all employees engaged by the University in the performance of the work and activities authorized by this Agreement.   • Provide Data In Compliance With State and Federal Law LEA shall provide data for the purposes of the Service Agreement in compliance with FERPA, COPPA, PPRA, Texas Education Code Chapter 32, and all other Texas privacy statutes cited in this DPA as these laws and regulations apply to the contracted services.   • State and Federal Laws This Agreement shall be subject to all present and future applicable federal and state laws, executive orders of the President of the United States or the Governor of the State of Washington, and rules and regulations of governmental authority. Should any provision or provisions become unlawful by virtue of the above or by declaration of any court of competent jurisdiction, such action shall not invalidate the entire Agreement. Any provisions of this Agreement not declared invalid shall remain in full force and effect for the term of the Agreement. If any provision is held invalid, the Employer and Union shall enter into immediate negotiations for the purpose, and solely for the purpose, of arriving at a mutually satisfactory replacement for such provision.
