Common use of Adjustment for Leave of Absence Clause in Contracts

Adjustment for Leave of Absence. or Part-Time Work. Unless otherwise required by law or Company policy, if the Participant takes a leave of absence or commences working on a part-time basis during the Performance Period, the Committee may, in its discretion, reduce on a pro rata basis (reflecting the portion of the Performance Period worked by the Participant on a full-time equivalent basis) the number of Units which would otherwise become Earned Units, or provide that the number of Units which would otherwise become Earned Units shall be reduced as provided by the terms of an agreement between the Participant and the Company pertaining to the Participant’s leave of absence or part-time schedule.
