Common use of Administrative Closeout Clause in Contracts

Administrative Closeout. An administrative closeout may be conducted when a recipient is not responsive to the Division’s reasonable efforts to collect required reports, forms, or other documentation needed to complete the standard award and/or closeout process. FDEM will make three written attempts to collect required information before initiating an administrative closeout. If an award is administratively closed, FDEM may decide to impose remedies for noncompliance per 2 C.F.R. § 200.338, consider this information in reviewing future award applications, or apply special conditions to existing or future awards.
