Common use of Administrative Review Activities Clause in Contracts

Administrative Review Activities. The Department of Social and Health Services, Office of the State Auditor, the Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Comptroller General, Great Rivers or any of their duly-authorized representatives, may conduct announced and unannounced: • Surveys, audits and reviews of compliance with licensing and certification requirements and the terms of this Agreement; • Reviews regarding the quality, appropriateness, and timeliness of behavioral health services provided under this Agreement; • Audits and inspections of financial records of the Contractor or subcontractor; • Audits and inspection of any books, records, computers, or electronic systems of the Contractor and of any subcontractor, that pertain to the ability of the entity to bear the risk of potential financial losses, or to services performed or determinations of amounts payable under the contract per Section 1903(m)(A)(iv) of the Social Security Act; and • On-site inspections of any contractor and subcontractor locations. 3.2.1. The Contractor must notify Great Rivers when an entity other than Great Rivers performs any audit or review described above related to any activity contained in this Agreement. 3.2.2. The right to audit under this section exists for ten (10) years from the final date of the contract period or from the date of completion of any audit, whichever is later.
