ADMINISTRATOR-INITIATED TRANSFERS. A. Prior to an involuntary transfer, principals shall consider the Request for Change of Assignment Forms on file prior to reassignment, identify the reason(s) for recommending a bargaining unit member’s transfer in writing and discuss the reason(s) with the staff member involved. B. If all constructive means attempted to address the situation are ineffective, a transfer may be initiated by the principal through the Superintendent with the knowledge of the bargaining unit member involved. X. Xxxx involuntary transfers will not be made for arbitrary or capricious reasons. A bargaining unit member being involuntarily transferred may choose to resign and the Board will consent to such voluntary termination under Ohio Revised Code Section 3319.15.
