Common use of ADVANCE PAYMENTS PROHIBITED Clause in Contracts

ADVANCE PAYMENTS PROHIBITED. No payment in advance or in anticipation of services or supplies to be provided by this Contract shall be made by ESD. In cost reimbursement contracts, the Contractor shall be entitled only to reimbursement for expenses incurred during the contract period for work accomplished as provided elsewhere in this Contract. In fixed unit price contracts, the Contractor shall be entitled only to payment for work accomplished during the contract period and in accordance with the terms of this Contract.
