Common use of Advice of Sickness and Return to Work Clause in Contracts

Advice of Sickness and Return to Work. (i) Employees absent through illness shall advise their divisional office on the first day of their illness; failure to do so may result in loss of wages. Employees shall inform their divisional office prior to returning to work; failure to do so may result in loss of wages. (ii) Custodian II's shall notify the Operations Supervisor and their contact at their school by 7 am on the first day of illness. Custodian II's shall notify the Operations Supervisor by 3 pm on the work day prior to the day of their return. Custodian I's shall notify their Custodian II and the Operations Supervisor by 11 am on the first day of illness Custodian I's shall notify their Custodian II and the Operation Supervisor by 11 am on the day of their return.
