Common use of Affiliations Covered Clause in Contracts

Affiliations Covered. The Employee further promises that, during the term of this Agreement, as set forth in Article 2 hereof and for a period of one (1) year after the expiration or other termination of this Agreement, he shall not engage, directly or indirectly, as a proprietor, partner, shareholder, director, officer, employee, agent, or in any other capacity or manner whatsoever, in any business activity competitive with the business of the Company or of any subsidiary, successor or appointee of the Company, as constituted during his employment.

The Employee further promises that, during the term of this Agreement, as set forth in Article 2 hereof hereof, and for a period of one two (12) year years after the expiration or other termination of this Agreement, he shall not engage, engage directly or indirectly, indirectly as a proprietor, partner, shareholder, director, officer, employee, agent, or in any other capacity or manner whatsoever, in any business activity competitive with the business of the Company or of any subsidiary, successor or appointee of the Company, as constituted during his employment.

The Employee further promises that, during the term of this Agreement, as set forth in Article 2 hereof and for a period of one six (16) year years after the expiration or other termination of this Agreement, he shall not engage, directly or indirectly, as a proprietor, partner, shareholder, director, officer, employee, agent, or in any other capacity or manner whatsoever, in any business activity competitive with the business of the Company or of any subsidiary, successor or appointee of the Company, as constituted during his employment.
