AGMA DELEGATES AND REPRESENTATIVES. A. AGMA may represent the employees covered under and as stated in Article 1 in any dispute with EMPLOYER. B. AGMA Staff Representative shall notify EMPLOYER, in writing, of the names of the AGMA Delegates assigned to EMPLOYER. Should the Delegate or Representative change during the life of this Agreement, AGMA shall identify the new Delegate and/or Representative to EMPLOYER. C. An AGMA Representative wanting access to locations where CHORISTERS are working or are scheduled to work shall request permission for such access from EMPLOYER, in writing, 24 hours in advance. EMPLOYER shall cooperate in these requests whenever possible. EMPLOYER will submit denials of any such access in writing to AGMA. AGMA Delegates may access such locations without notice, provided that they do not interrupt the work and follows EMPLOYER’S instructions with respect to more convenient times. D. If AGMA conducts union meetings scheduled on days of rehearsal or performance and pertaining to AGMA business, they should be scheduled before or after rehearsals or performances so as not to interfere with such Services. Union meetings held in a facility of EMPLOYER must end one half hour preceding rehearsal and shall be limited to one half hour after rehearsal. EMPLOYER will endeavor to make a facility available for such meetings if requested and upon availability. If AGMA wishes to conduct union meetings pertaining to AGMA business on days when rehearsals or performances are not scheduled, then EMPLOYER will make available up to twice a year on mutually agreed upon dates space at the Arizona Opera Center for AGMA to conduct meetings for such purposes. F. The EMPLOYER agrees to provide AGMA representatives a roster of ARTISTS engaged to date for each production, indicating the roles to be performed by each ARTIST engaged, no less than six (6) weeks prior to the first scheduled rehearsal of such production or as soon thereafter as practicable. The EMPLOYER shall update the roster at regular intervals.
G. The EMPLOYER agrees that it will not discriminate against any ARTIST in compensation, performances, engagements or in its general relationship with the ARTIST, because of the ARTIST’s activities on behalf of AGMA.
H. CHORISTERS who serve as AGMA delegates in a production will, at the conclusion of each chorus rehearsal, sign the chorus sign-in sheet that records the CHORISTER attendance and the number of hours worked at the rehearsal.
I. The AGMA delegate shall have no authority to stop or interfere with any part of any performance or rehearsal or interfere in any way with the performance of the duties of the EMPLOYER except when authorized by the National Office of AGMA to stop professional activities due to lack of payment for services.
J. AGMA may represent ARTISTS in any dispute which may arise with the EMPLOYER. The EMPLOYER shall not dismiss or otherwise penalize any ARTIST for fulfilling their duties or obligations as a delegate or as an AGMA member. Any AGMA delegate or member who claims that the EMPLOYER has given them notice, or otherwise penalized or discriminated against them for fulfilling their duties, either as a delegate or as an AGMA member, may present their case to AGMA which shall give the EMPLOYER an opportunity to be heard if it desires to avail itself of this opportunity. If AGMA is satisfied that such activities are the real cause of dismissal or of any penalty, it may permit the ARTIST’s claim to be arbitrated and shall have the power to determine the character and the amount of the claim to be submitted. If the member’s claim is sustained, he shall be reinstated with back pay from the date of dismissal to date of reinstatement plus any penalty which the arbitrators shall deem appropriate in the circumstances.

C. Each ARTIST who serves as one (1) of the two (2) AGMA Delegates for a production shall be paid a stipend of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for that production. Such Delegate does not have to be a contracted member of the production but will commit to being reasonably available. Payment for this provision shall be included in the final paycheck for each rep period.
D. An AGMA Representative wanting access elected Delegate, with the full cooperation of MANAGEMENT:
