Agreement-making in different Australian jurisdictions Sample Clauses

Agreement-making in different Australian jurisdictions. The unique legislative and policy environment within each Australian State or Territory gives rise to a different set of considerations that will apply depending on which jurisdiction a resource company is operating within. Table 6 summarises some of the different considerations that will apply in selected jurisdictions. It should be noted that the complexity of the legislative framework does not permit a comprehensive description of all relevant legislation in this summary format. Further, the table does not deal with legislation applicable to specific resource sectors, such as the Xxxxxxxxx Xxx 0000 (Qld), which include additional procedural requirements regarding project approvals.
