Alternate Contract/Summer Quarter. Upon mutual written agreement between a tenured faculty member and the appropriate administrator(s), summer quarter may be worked in lieu of a regular quarter. In such instances, the days worked and compensation shall be the same as if the regular quarter had been worked. The academic year begins with the summer quarter; thus, the faculty would be assigned to work the summer quarter of that year plus two more quarters.
