Alternate Licensed Healthcare Practitioner. For the purpose of this Article, (a) The Employer may require that the employee be examined by an alternate licensed healthcare practitioner. If the employee is dissatisfied with the alternate licensed healthcare practitioner selected by the Employer, the employee shall advise the Employer accordingly, in which case the Employer will provide the employee with the names of three (3) practitioners, where possible, and the employee will select one (1) of the names provided. (b) Where the Employer refers an employee to an alternate licensed healthcare practitioner pursuant to this Article, and where healthcare fees in excess of those covered by Medical Services Insurance are incurred by the employee, the Employer shall pay the cost of these fees.
