Common use of ANCILLARY STAFF ASSIGNMENTS Clause in Contracts

ANCILLARY STAFF ASSIGNMENTS. Section A: Assignment in Areas of Certification Ancillary staff shall not be assigned outside their area of qualifications and certification, except temporarily and for good cause. Said assignment shall be made only when no other practical option is available and with the ancillary staff employee’s approval. For the purpose of this paragraph, “temporarily” shall be defined as not to exceed the duration of the semester except that said time may be extended by mutual agreement between the Administration and the affected ancillary staff. This paragraph shall also apply to summer school ancillary staff.
