Work Assignments. Section 1. The Company shall determine whether to staff a position or fill a vacancy and the method or combination of methods it shall use for such purposes. In making this determination, the Company shall first give consideration to qualified internal candidates prior to off-street applicants. All vacancies within the Bargaining Unit shall be posted (manually or electronically) in such a fashion as to be accessible by employees. The posting shall include the title, pay range, and sufficient information regarding requirements and duties to adequately describe the vacancy. The vacancy shall remain posted for seven (7) calendar days. Section 2. In connection with Section 1. above, employees who have met a twelve (12) month time-in-title and location requirement shall be afforded the opportunity to submit to the Company a form on which they may identify their interest in being considered for vacancies which occur in the Bargaining Unit. Section 3. When a vacancy is to be filled from within the Bargaining Unit, Management will consider all qualified candidates who have forms on file relating to the vacancy in question. In selecting the employee to fill the position, the Company will first give due consideration to the candidates’ qualifications and past performance and where those factors are relatively equal, in the judgment of the Company, it shall consider seniority. Section 4. The Company agrees to provide the Union, in writing, the names and titles of all candidates selected under this Article, by the fifteenth (15th) calendar day after any such selection is made. Section 5. Nothing in this Agreement shall be applied or interpreted to restrict the Company in the exercise of its right to hire, promote or transfer; and, to the extent the needs of the business require, to have Bargaining Unit work performed by its supervisory personnel, or its right to make sales assignments without limitations.

Work Assignments. At Citizens’ discretion, Citizens’ Credentialing Department may require Citizens’ review and approval of all required Vendor and Vendor Staff credentialing submission documents prior to Vendor being eligible to receive any assignments under this Agreement. Citizens will, from time to time, assign work under this Agreement to Vendor’s Adjusters. Citizens may make such assignments to Vendor for delegation to an Adjuster or may direct the assignment of specific Adjusters based on special qualifications or experience and Citizens’ particular needs. Vendor acknowledges that Citizens does not in any way represent or guarantee that Vendor will receive any specific or minimum volume of assignments under this Agreement. At its sole discretion, Citizens will assign claims and task assignments to vendors based on vendor performance, capability and capacity.
Work Assignments. The Agency shall give a five- (5) day written notice to an employee prior to a permanent change of assignment.
Work Assignments. The Employers agree to respect the jurisdictional rules of the Union and shall not direct or require their employees or persons other than the employees in the bargaining units here involved, to perform work which is recognized as the work of the employees in said units. This is not to interfere with bona fide contracts with bona fide unions.
Work Assignments. In all matters relative to new work assignments and opportunities for additional work, the principle of seniority shall prevail, provided, however, that new work assignments and/or the assignment of additional work shall not result in overtime and/or unreasonable travel costs. It is further understood that, due to language requirements, skill requirement and/or “consumer preference,” the Employer may bypass a senior employee who, by virtue of seniority would be given a particular client assignment. In such cases, the assignment will be given to the most senior available employee who can satisfy language/skill requirements and/or “consumer preference.” Additionally, in such cases the Employer shall give the bypassed employee the next opportunity for assignment of additional work, subject to the provisions of this section.
Work Assignments. All hours of work for the sign up must be utilized by the Company in a way to create FT and PT positions to employees based on seniority. All available hours must be utilized with an emphasis on creating as many FT positions as possible. Remaining hours will then be used to create as many PT positions as possible. Any hours left at the end of this process may be then covered by the Company with casual employees. The purpose of this sign up process is to allow for the distribution of FT and PT positions to employees based on seniority. This process allows for the Company to see where the greatest amount of work is located and allows the employee to view all available positions and choose where he/she would like to work and FT or PT status based on seniority. All Route employees shall participate in the respective sign-ups. a) On or about August 1st and February 1st of each year, the Employer will post a list of all runs for the regular work week showing the run number, the various work assignments which will be required on the run, the general area served, the crew complement and the classification of employees on those crews. b) The sign-up shall be in effect for six (6) month periods to be implemented in September and March of each year as practicable. c) Regular employees shall, in order of seniority, be entitled to select the position of their choice on the run of their choice for the sign-up period. i. The Employer will set up blocks of runs, which will show the days of work and days off for the scheduled work week, Monday to Sunday. ii. Whenever and wherever possible, the Employer shall establish full- time runs or positions. d) Once an employee has been assigned to a run, they will be required to remain on that run for a period of six (6) months, subject to other provisions of the Collective Agreement. e) The Employer reserves the right to refuse permission to an employee to bid on a certain run as well as the right to remove them from a run or classification he/she has bid, subject to the grievance procedure. f) The Employer reserves the right to change runs from time to time by adding stops, removing stops, changing start times, merging, consolidating, eliminating, and adding runs. g) The employer reserves the right to extend or back up run a run to meet the needs of customers and to cover breakdowns and unusual delays on the specific run. Such back up work will be assigned to the crew that is readily available among the work crews on that day. h) ...
Work Assignments. No Employee will be required to work independently on an aircraft or on an aircraft system or on any other equipment or process on which he/she has not been properly trained as determined by his or her training records at the system level.

Work Assignments. You will receive your work assignments by corresponding with your immediate supervisor on a daily basis at the beginning of the work day or as necessary during the day, and/or by picking up assignments at the location. Work assignments may also be communicated by phone or sent by mail. If there are any questions or concerns about your assignments, you are expected to inform your immediate supervisor of them at the time of receipt. Once assignments have been completed, you may either send them via email or return them to the same location used for pick up unless otherwise specified by your immediate supervisor.
Work Assignments i) Work Assignments should xxxxxx skills-building, including social and emotional skills and youth leadership skills, expose youth to promising career pathways, and advance participants’ baseline understanding of the labor market. ii) Contractor shall ensure that all Work Assignments comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to child labor laws, the ADA, New York State School-Aged Child Care Regulations, and the New York State Department of Health Sanitary Code as it applies to children’s camps. iii) Contractor shall provide Participants with written job descriptions defining the tasks and standards for each of their Work Assignments, a copy of which shall be maintained as records in the Participant’s file. When Work Assignments require specific proficiencies or competencies, Contractor shall ensure that Worksite Sponsors provide Participants with the training necessary to acquire such skills in a structured manner that logically relates such skill development to Participant’s academic and personal development. iv) Older Youth Participants will earn the minimum wage for work performed during the Program Period, up to a maximum of twenty five (25) hours per week for each week of the Program Period, for up to a total of one hundred fifty (150) hours over the Program Period. v) Work-Based Experience/s must take place at Worksites. vi) All Participant Work Assignments will be subject to DYCD approval. The SYEP Manual will provide guidance on acceptable Work Assignments
Work Assignments. Upon completion of Streetcar Department training, employees will be assigned to 13-week schedules of Streetcar Department work in accordance with their sign ups. The work to be performed by Streetcar Department employees will be as set forth in job descriptions developed by the City and shared with the District and the Union. When District employees are in Streetcar Department training or assigned for Streetcar Department work, they may be supervised and subject to directions by the City-designated general manager, managers, administrative coordinator, or their designees. These individuals will be statutory and not in any collective bargaining unit. a. The City may schedule five (5) 8-hour day workweeks and/or four (4) 10-hour day workweeks. b. District seniority shall prevail among Streetcar Department employees for selection of open shifts, vacations, holiday time, layoffs, and recalls within their respective positions.
