Annual and long service leave. 18.1 Where an employee's contracted weekly hours or classification are reduced the number of hours of annual and long service leave accrued from their commencement date shall be preserved. Upon application and following consideration of the needs of the organisation, staff may be granted long service leave following 7 years service. The taking of Long Service Leave shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Long Service Leave Act 1987 and Annual Leave shall be taken in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Award.
