Unpaid Carer’s Leave. 17.1 This clause applies to permanent and casual Employees.
17.2 Permanent and casual Employees are entitled to a period of up to 2 days unpaid carer's leave for each permissible occasion. A permissible occasion occurs when a member of the Employee's immediate family, as defined in clause 15.2.4, or household requires care or support because of a personal illness or injury or an unexpected emergency.
17.3 An Employee is expected to comply with the notice and documentation requirements under clause 15.3, to the extent to which they apply to the Employee.
17.4 A permanent Employee is only entitled to unpaid carer's leave if the Employee has exhausted all of their paid sick and paid xxxxx's leave entitlement.
Unpaid Carer’s Leave. All employees, including casual employees, are entitled to two unpaid days of carer’s leave for each occasion when a member of the employee’s household or immediate family requires care or support during such period because of a personal illness, or injury, of the member; or an unexpected emergency affecting the member Full-time employees are entitled to unpaid carer’s leave only when their paid personal leave entitlement has been exhausted.
Unpaid Carer’s Leave. 16.1 Permanent and casual Employees are entitled to a period of up to 2 days unpaid carer's leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when an Employee's immediate family or household member, as defined by the Act, requires care or support during such a period because of:
16.1.1 A personal illness or injury; or
Unpaid Carer’s Leave. (a) An Employee (including a casual Employee) is entitled to take up to two (2) days unpaid Carer’s Leave on each occasion an immediate family or household member requires care or support because of:
(i) a personal illness or injury; or
(ii) an unexpected emergency.
(b) An Employee may be entitled to further unpaid Carer’s Leave upon agreement with the Employer.
Unpaid Carer’s Leave. (a) An employee is entitled to a period of up to 2 days unpaid carer’s leave for each occasion when a member of the employee’s immediate family, or a member of the employee’s household, requires care or support during such a period because of:
(i) a personal illness, or injury, of the member; or
(ii) an unexpected emergency affecting the member.
(b) This entitlement extends to casual employees and the employer agrees not to fail to re-engage a casual employee because the employee accessed the entitlements provided for in this sub-clause. The rights of the employer to engage or not to engage a casual employee are otherwise not affected.
(c) An employee is entitled to unpaid carer’s leave for a particular occasion only if the employee cannot take an amount of paid personal/carer’s leave.
Unpaid Carer’s Leave. (1) An employee is entitled to an additional 2 days unpaid carer’s leave on each occasion he or she is required to care for a member of his or her immediate family or a member of his or her household who is ill or injured.
(2) The entitlement to unpaid carer’s leave will only arise if the employee has exhausted his or her paid personal leave for the year.
(3) An employee may elect, with the consent of the Company, to take additional unpaid leave for the purpose of providing care to a family or household member who is ill.
Unpaid Carer’s Leave. (a) An employee is entitled to 2 days unpaid carer’s leave for each occasion when a member of the employee’s immediate family, or a member of the employee’s household, requires care or support because of:
(i) a personal illness, or personal injury, affecting the member; or
(ii) an unexpected emergency affecting the member.
(b) An employee may take unpaid carer’s leave as:
(i) a single continuous period of up to 2 days: or
(ii) any separate periods agreed with the employer.
(c) An employee is entitled to unpaid carer’s leave for a particular occasion only if the employee cannot take an amount of paid personal/carer’s leave.
Unpaid Carer’s Leave. An employee is entitled to 2 days’ unpaid carer’s leave for each occasion when a member of the employee’s immediate family or household requires care or support because of personal illness or injury or an unexpected emergency.
Unpaid Carer’s Leave. Up to two (2) days unpaid Carer’s Leave for each occasion.
Unpaid Carer’s Leave. 35.2.1 The NES provides that an Employee who is required to provide care or support to a member of their immediate family or a member of their household who requires care or support because of illness or injury or an unexpected emergency and who:
a) has exhausted their entitlement to paid xxxxx's leave; or
b) is a casual Employee; and
c) is entitled to take up to two (2) days unpaid carer's leave for each such occasion.
