APD Local Onboarding Session. To complete the process to become a Homecare Worker an individual must attend an in-person Local Onboarding Session at the DHS/OHA Local Service Delivery System Office to complete employment documents and other related documentation required by DHS/OHA. When a Local Onboarding Session is held the Union will be allowed to make a twenty (20) minute presentation at a mutually agreeable time about the organization, representational status, and Union benefits and to distribute and collect membership applications.
