Common use of Application of Pay Rates Clause in Contracts

Application of Pay Rates. The rates of pay set forth in Section 19.1 are based on full-time employment of forty (40) hours in a work week and 2,080 hours in a work year. These rates shall be used to calculate wages for hours in paid status for the appropriate pay range and step. "Paid Status" shall include all hours of approved paid leave including holiday, vacation, injury, military, personal, and sick leave.
