Appropriate Unit Definition. The Appropriate Unit shall consist of all employees who are certified in Class 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 as provided in Section 20-4-106, M.C.A., and the Administrative Rules of Montana. In addition, school nurses and speech language pathologists are included. The Appropriate Unit shall exclude all supervisory employees, e.g., the superintendent, deputy superintendents, principals, and assistant principals, as well as temporary employees whose duties do not extend beyond ninety days in a calendar year, and all other employees.
