Common use of Approved Electrical Load Clause in Contracts

Approved Electrical Load. Tenant agrees not to connect any additional electrical equipment of any type to the building electric distribution system, beyond that on Tenant’s approved plans for initial occupancy, other than lamps, typewriters, and other office machines which consume comparable amounts of electricity or other electrical equipment which in the aggregate consumes the same amount of electricity as those approved for initial occupancy and will not result in any overload of electrical circuits, lines, or wiring, without Landlord’s prior written consent. In no event shall Tenant use or install any fixtures, equipment, or machines the use of which in conjunction with other fixtures, equipment, and machines in the Premises would result in an overload or the electrical circuits servicing the Premises. Tenant covenants and agrees that at all times its use of electric current shall never exceed the capacity of the feeders to the Building or the risers or wiring installation existing at the time in question.
