Arbitration/Mediation. Should the parties not reach a suitable settlement following the grievance process, the matter may be referred to Arbitration or, if both parties agree, to a Mediation/Arbitration as hereinafter provided, by either the Director of Human Resources or the National Representative of the Union as outlined in Article 18 - Arbitration of grievances.
