Posted Positions. Employees while on the program will not be allowed to apply to posted positions unless each application is accompanied by a doctor's note indicating that the employees are physically and/or mentally fit to do the tasks required by said position. If awarded the position the employee will be removed forthwith from the program.
Posted Positions. It is recognized by the parties that in conducting the normal operations of the Department there are positions (special assignments) which the Department needs to fill. Positions (i.e. officers (excluding detectives and sergeants except as noted below) assigned as or performing the function of) subject to the requirements of position posting under the terms of this Article and the length of those assignments are:
Posted Positions. An employee holding two (2) part-time posted positions shall receive the separate rates of pay. An employee holding two (2) part-time posted positions will not exceed eight (8) hours work within a twelve (12) hour period.
Posted Positions. 11-1 Posted positions include, but are not limited to: coaching positions, before/after school positions, evening school, summer school, federally funded programs, extra-curricular positions, etc. When a vacancy occurs or when a new position is created, the Superintendent or his/her designee shall provide appropriate postings
Posted Positions. Employees holding a posted position will receive the weekend bonus payment on the second consecutive weekend worked. An employee who holds a position that does not require them to work weekends will receive the weekend bonus when they work because of employer need.
Posted Positions. If a vacant position is designated as Post and Bid, it should be posted and it shall be in a prominent place where such notices are customarily posted on each program/residence/unit bulletin board and/or it may be advertised in each facilities’ publication. The posting(s) shall be provided to the CAPT representative (designated by CAPT), prior to posting for review. Each notice shall remain posted for no less than seven (7) calendar days. Upon mutual agreement between management and CAPT, a "walk up" bid may be conducted. The posted notice shall be on a form designed for that purpose and shall include the following posting criteria if applicable:
1. Identification posting number;
2. Classification;
3. Program and unit/residence/xxxx;
4. Shift/Watch;
5. Days off, rotation pattern and/or cycle;
6. Deadline for bids to be submitted;
7. Location where bid is to be submitted and to whom.
Posted Positions. (a) A probationary employee shall be eligible to move once to a permanent position outside the employee’s cluster, in which case the employee must complete the balance of the probationary period in the new position. For the avoidance of doubt, Article 10.02 shall apply.
(b) Notwithstanding Article 13.04 (a) (ii), upon successful completion of the probationary period, the employee will be subject to a trial period in the new position of five hundred and twenty (520) hours, less the balance of probationary hours served in that position. No further trial period will be required when the balance of probationary hours in the new position is five hundred and twenty (520) hours or greater.
Posted Positions. 11-1 When a vacancy occurs for which additional compensation is provided or when a new position is created for which additional compensation is provided or when a school based management position is created or is vacant, the Superintendent or his/her designee shall provide appropriate postings on the same day in every school building/work site. Posted positions include, but are not limited to: coaching positions, before/after school positions, evening school, summer school, federally funded programs, substitute teaching by regular teachers, school based management positions, extra-curricular positions, etc.
11-2 Appropriate postings shall be deemed to occur only after the Union building delegate has signed and dated the notice from the Superintendent or his/her designee in triplicate. One copy shall be returned to the Office of Human Resources by the principal, one shall be retained by the Union building delegate and one shall be posted on the Union Bulletin Board by the Union building delegate.
11-3 The notice of the Superintendent shall categorically set forth all qualifications, requirements, certificate requirements, duties, salaries, and other pertinent information for each position.
11-4 No posted position shall be filled within ten (10) school days from the date of posting. No posting shall occur later than the tenth work day prior to the close of the teacher work year. No posting shall be back-dated in an attempt to comply with the deadline for postings.
11-5 All applications for positions shall be in writing and shall set forth the basis upon which the applicant solicits consideration. All applicants must possess any specific education and/or experience requirements in the area relating to the vacancy or new position stated in the posting to be eligible.
11-5.1 An applicant must possess the appropriate certificate at the time he/she makes application if a certificate is required for the position.
11-6 All regularly appointed teachers in the Providence School Department who have filed written applications in response to a posting shall be given preference to work in all programs that require certified teaching personnel, before other certified personnel from inside and outside the system.
11-7 Applicants initially deemed ineligible shall be so notified by the Superintendent or his/her designee in writing with reason(s) for ineligibility stated. Such notification shall be made prior to the filling of the position by the Superintendent.
Posted Positions. 19 Employees desiring the posted position shall submit an online 20 application to human resources via the County website.
Posted Positions. 35 The District shall publicize within the bargaining unit for five (5) working days the availability of open 36 positions as soon as possible after the opening is determined to exist.
