ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE. The Architectural Committee referred to herein shall be composed of three members appointed by the Board of Directors of the Club. The decision of any two members of the Architectural Committee shall be final and binding; however, applications may be resubmitted. Upon failure of the Committee or its designated representative to approve or disapprove any application for a period of thirty (30) days after it has been submitted in writing to the Chairman of the Committee or his designated representative, said application will be deemed to have been approved. Members shall be elected for a term of three (3) years by the majority vote of the Board of Directors of the Club. If any member of the Committee is unable or unwilling to act, the remaining members shall elect a successor to serve out the unexpired term.

ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE. The Grantor shall appoint one or more persons to serve on the Architectural Committee, which Committee shall serve to enforce these Covenants Conditions and Restrictions. So long as Grantor is the owner of at least ten percent (10%) of the platted lots. Grantor shall have the exclusive right to appoint and remove members of the Architectural Committee—at all other times, the Homeowners Association shall have the right to appoint and remove members of the Architectural Committee. The Architectural Committee shall consider and act upon any and all proposals of plans and specifications submitted for its approval, pursuant to this Declaration, and perform such other duties as from time to time may be assigned to the Committee, including the inspection of construction in progress to ensure conformance with plans approved by the Architectural Committee. The Architectural Committee may establish additional rules and/or guidelines setting forth procedures, and the Architectural Committee may establish specific rules and regulations regarding design and style elements, landscaping and fences, and other structures applicable to the building lots and in conformance with these Covenants. The Architectural Committee and its members, or duly authorized representatives, shall not be liable to the Homeowners Association or to any Owner for any loss, damage, or injury arising out of, or in any way connected with, the performance of any of the Architectural Committee’s duties hereunder, unless due to the willful misconduct or bad faith of the Architectural Committee. Variances: The Architectural Committee may authorize variances from compliance with the requirements contained in this Declaration when, at the sole discretion of the Architectural Committee, circumstances may so require, including but not limited to: topography, natural obstruction, aesthetics, environmental consideration, absence of nuisance, or hardship. Any and all variances shall be authorized solely on a stand-alone and case-by-case basis (e.g., the approval of a variance authorizing a pre- fabricated building on a lot in one instance should not be assumed to be acceptable or approved for another lot or situation). As with any government law, code, or order, in any case where the State of Idaho and/or Teton County may mandate the construction or imposition of any structure or requirement, the approval of a variance from these Covenants Conditions and Restrictions shall not be necessary.
ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE. The Board shall establish an Architectural Committee consisting of not less than three (3) members to regulate the external design, appearance and use of the Property and to perform such other functions and duties as may be imposed upon it by this Declaration or the Board (excluding approval of New Construction unless otherwise expressly provided in Error! Reference source not found. above). So long as the Class B membership exists, the Declarant shall have the right to appoint and remove all members of the Architectural Committee.
ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE. All homes in Eagle Mountain Estates must meet the requirements set forth in the deed restrictions. In addition, the property owners association has an Architectural Committee, which must approve the house plans before start of construction. The committee exists to maintain a high quality of construction within the project and thereby protect the investment of all owners within Snow Creek. Buyer understands there shall be no grading, clearing of trees or construction of any improvements until approval from the Architectural Committee has been obtained. A lot owner should contact the Architectural Committee prior to submittal of building plans to verify the current fees for review, inspections and construction deposit as they are subject to change.
ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE. Xxxxx X. Xxxxx, Xxxxxxx X. Xxxxx, and Xxxxx X. Xxxxx shall be the only members of the Architectural Committee until such time as Xxxxx Xxxxxx, Section Nine, is fully developed. Upon being fully developed, X. Xxxxxxx Xxx, Jr. shall become the only member of the Architectural Committee until September 1, 2025 or until his death, whichever first occurs, then such committee shall elected by a majority of the lot owners. The Architectural Committee is tasked with reviewing all plans and specifications for dwellings and outbuildings as well as all other improvements to lots, and it is tasked with all other duties set forth herein. Approval or denial of proposed plans and specifications is completely within the discretion of the committee using a reasonableness standard by taking into account the character and quality of the neighborhood.
ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE. The Association shall designate three or more persons to serve as an Architectural Committee, for the express purpose of insuring compliance with the provisions of this Article. In the event any member of the Committee should, in the Association’s opinion, for any reason cease to be able to perform his or her duties properly, a replacement shall be selected by the Association.

  • Technical Committee 1. The Technical Committee shall comprise: (a) nine experts representing different regions of the Agreement Area, in accordance with a balanced geographical distribution; (b) one representative from the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN), one from the International Waterfowl and Wetlands Research Bureau (IWRB) and one from the International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation (CIC); and (c) one expert from each of the following fields: rural economics, game management, and environmental law. The procedure for the appointment of the experts, the term of their appointment and the procedure for designation of the Chairman of the Technical Committee shall be determined by the Meeting of the Parties. The Chairman may admit a maximum of four observers from specialized international inter- governmental and non-governmental organizations. 2. Unless the Meeting of the Parties decides otherwise, meetings of the Technical Committee shall be convened by the Agreement secretariat in conjunction with each ordinary session of the Meeting of the Parties and at least once between ordinary sessions of the Meeting of the Parties. 3. The Technical Committee shall: (a) provide scientific and technical advice and information to the Meeting of the Parties and, through the Agreement secretariat, to Parties; (b) make recommendations to the Meeting of the Parties concerning the Action Plan, implementation of the Agreement and further research to be carried out; (c) prepare for each ordinary session of the Meeting of the Parties a report on its activities, which shall be submitted to the Agreement secretariat not less than one hundred and twenty days before the session of the Meeting of the Parties, and copies shall be circulated forthwith by the Agreement secretariat to the Parties; and (d) carry out any other tasks referred to it by the Meeting of the Parties. 4. Where in the opinion of the Technical Committee there has arisen an emergency which requires the adoption of immediate measures to avoid deterioration of the conservation status of one or more migratory waterbird species, the Technical Committee may request the Agreement secretariat to convene urgently a meeting of the Parties concerned. These Parties shall meet as soon as possible thereafter to establish rapidly a mechanism to give protection to the species identified as being subject to particularly adverse threat. Where a recommendation has been adopted at such a meeting, the Parties concerned shall inform each other and the Agreement secretariat of measures they have taken to implement it, or of the reasons why the recommendation could not be implemented. 5. The Technical Committee may establish such working groups as may be necessary to deal with specific tasks.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Operating Committee the Consortium’s managing body, composed of representatives of the Manager and the Contractors, pursuant to Annex XI.

  • Review Committee A Committee of six members, three each from the Guild and shall be named. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be put before this Committee for resolution. When the Committee is unable to resolve an issue it is agreed that a third party will be named by mutual agreement of the parties to provide Arbitration for binding resolution. Failing such an appointment by the Committee either party may refer it to arbitration under Article of the Collective Agreement.

  • Grievance Committee The Hospital will recognize a Grievance Committee composed of the Chief Xxxxxxx and not more than (as set out in Local Provisions Appendix) employees selected by the Union who have completed their probationary period. A general representative of the Union may be present at any meeting of the Committee. The purpose of the Committee is to deal with complaints or grievances as set out in this Collective Agreement. The Union shall keep the Hospital notified in writing of the names of the members of the Grievance Committee appointed or selected under this Article as well as the effective date of their respective appointments. A Committee member shall suffer no loss of earnings for time spent during their regular scheduled working hours in attending grievance meetings with the Hospital up to, but not including arbitration. The number of employees on the Grievance Committee shall be determined locally.

  • Safety Committees Joint employee-elected and Employer appointed safety committees shall be formed in accord with WISHA requirements and following University of Washington policy. The Union is entitled to representation on the University-wide or specific organizational or divisional committees where bargaining unit employees are working. Any department or unit committee also dealing with health and safety issues in work areas shall appropriately involve bargaining unit employees. Participation in safety and health committees, including meeting time, health and safety research, work on committee assignments, seminars, and classes will be considered time worked for all employees in accordance with University policy. Release time must be arranged with supervisors in advance. When the committee makes a recommendation that requires action or approval beyond its scope of authority, the Employer will communicate its disposition of the formal written recommendation within thirty (30) days.

  • LABOR/MANAGEMENT COMMITTEES A. Statewide

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply. (b) An equal number of representatives of each party as mutually agreed shall meet at a time and place mutually satisfactory. A request for a meeting hereunder will be made in writing prior to the date proposed and accompanied by an agenda of matters proposed to be discussed, which shall not include matters that are properly the subject of grievance or negotiations for the amendment or renewal of this agreement. Any representative(s) attending such meetings during their regularly scheduled hours of work shall not lose regular earnings as a result of such attendance. (c) It is agreed that the topic of a rehabilitation program for drug and alcohol abuse is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. It is also agreed that the topic of the utilization of full-time and part-time staff is an appropriate topic for the Labour-Management Committee. The committee shall have access to work schedules and job postings upon request. (d) It is understood that joint meetings with other Labour-Management Committees in the Hospital may be scheduled concerning issues of mutual interest if satisfactory to all concerned. (e) Where two or more agreements exist between a Hospital and CUPE the Committee may be a joint one representing employees under both agreements, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Scheduling Committee (a) The parties agree to the formation of a Scheduling Committee to discuss and assist in resolving scheduling issues. (b) The committee will be comprised of equal representation from the Union and management. One Union Representative shall be the Bargaining Unit President and one Management Representative shall be the Chief Nursing Officer or designate. (c) Terms of Reference will be developed and mutually agreed to by the Committee.

  • Technical Advisory Committee (TAC The goal of this subtask is to create an advisory committee for this Agreement. The TAC should be composed of diverse professionals. The composition will vary depending on interest, availability, and need. TAC members will serve at the CAM’s discretion. The purpose of the TAC is to: • Provide guidance in project direction. The guidance may include scope and methodologies, timing, and coordination with other projects. The guidance may be based on: o Technical area expertise; o Knowledge of market applications; or o Linkages between the agreement work and other past, present, or future projects (both public and private sectors) that TAC members are aware of in a particular area. • Review products and provide recommendations for needed product adjustments, refinements, or enhancements. • Evaluate the tangible benefits of the project to the state of California, and provide recommendations as needed to enhance the benefits. • Provide recommendations regarding information dissemination, market pathways, or commercialization strategies relevant to the project products. The TAC may be composed of qualified professionals spanning the following types of disciplines: • Researchers knowledgeable about the project subject matter; • Members of trades that will apply the results of the project (e.g., designers, engineers, architects, contractors, and trade representatives); • Public interest market transformation implementers; • Product developers relevant to the project; • U.S. Department of Energy research managers, or experts from other federal or state agencies relevant to the project; • Public interest environmental groups; • Utility representatives; • Air district staff; and • Members of relevant technical society committees. • Prepare a List of Potential TAC Members that includes the names, companies, physical and electronic addresses, and phone numbers of potential members. The list will be discussed at the Kick-off meeting, and a schedule for recruiting members and holding the first TAC meeting will be developed. • Recruit TAC members. Ensure that each individual understands member obligations and the TAC meeting schedule developed in subtask 1.11. • Prepare a List of TAC Members once all TAC members have committed to serving on the TAC. • Submit Documentation of TAC Member Commitment (such as Letters of Acceptance) from each TAC member. • List of Potential TAC Members • List of TAC Members • Documentation of TAC Member Commitment
