Areas Served. Shawano County is located in north central Wisconsin. Its population, according to the 2010 Census, is 41,949 of who over 60% reside in the rural townships of the county. The Reservation is located along the northern boundary of the County in the Towns of Bartelme and Red Springs. Tribal families reside both on Reservation lands, as well as lands owned in fee simple by themselves or by the Tribe, in the area of these Towns. From the most recent census, the total resident population of the area in the Reservation is approximately 1,744 of whom approximately 1,064 are Native American. The Tribe has a total tribal member population of 1,722. While approximately half of the tribal membership live on or around the Reservation, all members have property interests on the Reservation, so that law enforcement programs must serve all. In addition to providing law enforcement services on the Reservation, SMPD officers who are deputies would have jurisdiction throughout Shawano County. However, the parties recognize and desire that the primary patrol area for SMPD officers is the Reservation, as well as adjacent areas. Such adjacent areas include the Village of Bowler, which has a population of 302, and the Village of Gresham, which has a population of 586.
Areas Served. 4.A The United States Census Bureau divides the United States into certain metropolitan statistical areas. For purposes of this Agreement and unless otherwise agreed by the parties, “MSAs” will refer to such metropolitan statistical areas as drawn or described by the Census Bureau on the Effective Date of this Agreement. TWTC shall offer Services to AT&T under the terms, conditions and pricing principles of this Agreement in every MSA in which TWTC offers services of the types that are the subject of this Agreement. The parties shall execute an “MSA Schedule” substantially in the form of Appendix B to evidence each of the MSAs in which TWTC shall offer Services and provide details specific to that MSA. Each MSA identified in an MSA Schedule shall be deemed a “Selected MSA.”
