Common use of ASSEMBLY PERIODS Clause in Contracts

ASSEMBLY PERIODS. Teachers who do not have classes at the time of any given assembly need not attend such assemblies, unless they are assigned assembly duty. Those assigned assembly duty will include those who normally serve in that capacity, and those teachers on a duty that would involve them in an assembly coverage. In the event that an assembly program should consume more than the one period allowed, the additional time shall be deducted from one subsequent period for each instance.
