ASSIGNMENT OF CONTRACT; STATUS OF PARTIES. Neither party to the Contract shall assign the Contract as a whole without written consent of the other. The parties agree that the contractual relationship of Contractor to Owner is one solely of an independent contractor in all respects and that the Contract Documents do not in any way create a partnership, joint venture or any other relationship between Owner and Contractor other than the contractual relationship as specified in this Agreement.
