Common use of Assignment to a Higher Clause in Contracts

Assignment to a Higher. Job Classification: When an employee is assigned to a higher job classification for more than ninety (90) consecutive days, he/she shall receive an additional five (5%) percent differential pay, retroactive to the first day of service in the higher classification. Such assignments shall not exceed six (6) consecutive months in length without mutual agreement of the City Manager and the appropriate unit representative or individual.
