Associated Definitions. “Competencies” Where it appears in the Production and Process Support Classification definitions above, “competencies” means competencies or training packages at standards defined from time to time by the EPIC Industry Training Board. A4 RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING/CURRENT COMPETENCIES Where an employee is claiming recognition of equivalent qualifications or skills or competencies for the purpose of determining classification level, an assessment of the employee’s current competencies will be undertaken by the relevant industry training body as defined in clause A1.9.1, A3.3 or another service provider agreed between the Parties (e.g. TAFE college). Such recognition of current competencies (RCC) or the acknowledgement of competencies currently held by an employee, acquired through training, work or life experience, will be a formal process involving the production of appropriate and sufficient evidence to support the claim. The processes for undertaking the recognition of equivalent qualifications, skills or competencies will be consistent with the requirements of the nationally agreed Australian Quality Training Framework Standards.
