Association Leave and Released Time. a. The President of the MCEA or his or her designee(s) shall be released from regular duties without loss of salary for the purpose of participating in area or regional meetings, workshops, or conferences of the Association for not more than an aggregate of eight (8) days per year, but no more than two (2) bargaining unit members may be released under this provision at any one time. The Association will pay the cost of substitutes.
