Common use of Assurance of Independence Clause in Contracts

Assurance of Independence. The OP’s governing body shall remain independent of the District. OP’s governing body shall not be comprised of any members of the District's Board of Trustees, the District’s Superintendent, or any staff member responsible for granting this Agreement. Further, no member of the governing body is or will be related within the first degree of affinity or consanguinity with any members of the District’s Board of Trustees, Superintendent, or any staff member responsible for granting this Agreement or overseeing this Agreement.
