The following information is a list of safety precautions recommended: • Be aware of your surroundings. • Consider having someone accompany you to an ATM after dark or at a night-deposit facility. • If another person is uncomfortably close to you when you’re making a transaction, ask him/her to step back before proceeding. • Refrain from displaying cash at the location. • As soon as your transaction is complete, place your money in your purse or wallet. • If you notice anything suspicious, consider using a different ATM or return later. • If you are making a transaction and notice something suspicious, cancel it and leave. • If you are followed, go to the nearest public area. • Do not write your PIN on any of your cards. • Report all crimes to law enforcement officials immediately
