Attendance at Court or Tribunal. A teacher shall be granted a leave of absence from duty by reason of a summons to serve as a juror, or a subpoena as a witness in any proceedings to which the teacher is not a party or one of the persons charged, provided that the teacher pays to the Board any fee, exclusive of travelling allowances and living expenses that the teacher receives as a juror or witness.
