Attendance at Funeral Clause Samples

The 'Attendance at Funeral' clause grants employees the right to take leave from work to attend the funeral of a family member or close associate. Typically, this clause outlines the amount of leave permitted, eligibility criteria, and any required notice or documentation, such as specifying which relationships qualify or how much advance notice must be given. Its core function is to ensure employees can fulfill personal and familial obligations during bereavement without risking their employment or pay, thereby providing clarity and support during difficult times.
