Common use of Attendance at National Conference Clause in Contracts

Attendance at National Conference. Subject to prior approval by the Board, the Superintendent will be allowed release time of up to one week and will be reimbursed for tuition/registration fees, air travel and lodging costs and a per diem meal allowance as determined from event to event by the Board, to allow the Superintendent’s attendance at no more than one national educational conference every two contract years. Superintendent will be required to pay any such expenses incurred by his spouse or any other family member(s) who might accompany him on the trip to such national conference.
