Common use of Audit Access Clause in Contracts

Audit Access. 20.1 The Contractor shall keep and maintain until 6 years after the Contract has been completed, or as long a period as may be agreed between the Parties, full and accurate records of the Contract including the Services provided under it, all expenditure reimbursed by UK Sport and all payments made by UK Sport. The Contractor shall, on request, afford the UK Sport or UK Sport’s representatives (including the National Audit Office, Comptroller Auditor General, or other professional advisors) such access to those records as may be required by UK Sport in connection with the Contract. 20.2 The Contractor shall co-operate fully and in a timely manner with any reasonable request from time to time of any auditor (whether internal or external) of UK Sport and at the expense of the Contractor to provide documents, or to procure the provision of documents, relating to the Services, and to provide, or to procure the provision of, any oral or written explanation relating to the same.
