Audit and Inspection Rights of Developer’s and Contractors’ Records. At any time during the Work and for a period of five years (5) following County’s final acceptance of the Work, County, its agents or designees, shall have the right to audit, inspect, and copy Developer’s and Contractors’ books and records of any type, nature or description relating to the Project (including but not limited to financial records reflecting in any way costs claimed on the Project). This requirement shall be contained in the contracts for Contractors working on Site. By way of example, County shall have the right to inspect and obtain copies of all contracts with Contractors, planning, design, bid, proposal and negotiation documents, cost records and job cost variance reports, design modification proposals, value engineering or other cost reduction proposals, revisions made to the original design, job progress reports, photographs, and as-built drawings maintained by Developer. Developer and Contractors shall preserve such books, records, and other items for a period of at least five (5) years from County’s final acceptance of the Work. This right of inspection and audit shall not relieve Developer of its duties and obligations under this Agreement. This right of inspection and audit shall be specifically enforceable in a court of law, either independently or in conjunction with enforcement of any other rights in this Agreement.

  • Audit and Inspection Rights (a) The City may, at reasonable times, and for a period of up to three (3) years following the date of final performance of Services by the Contractor under this Contract, audit, or cause to be audited, those books and records of the Contractor that are related to the Contractor’s payroll and performance under this Contract.   • Contractor’s Records The Contractor shall keep true and accurate accounts, records, books and data which shall correctly reflect the business transacted by the Contractor in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. These records shall be stored in Orange County for a period of three (3) years after final payment is received from the County. Storage of records in another county will require written approval from the County of Orange assigned Deputy Purchasing Agent.

  • Contractor’s Books and Records Contractor shall maintain any and all ledgers, books of account, invoices, vouchers, canceled checks, and other records or documents evidencing or relating to charges for services or expenditures and disbursements charged to the County for a minimum of five (5) years, or for any longer period required by law, from the date of final payment to the Contractor under this Contract. Any records or documents required to be maintained shall be made available for inspection, audit and/or copying at any time during regular business hours, upon oral or written request of the County.

  • Audit and Inspection of Records Contractor agrees to maintain and make available to the City, during regular business hours, accurate books and accounting records relating to its Services. Contractor will permit City to audit, examine and make excerpts and transcripts from such books and records, and to make audits of all invoices, materials, payrolls, records or personnel and other data related to all other matters covered by this Agreement, whether funded in whole or in part under this Agreement.   • Permits, Licenses, and Inspections The Owner shall cooperate with the Contractor in obtaining building and other permits, licenses, and inspections. See also Subparagraph 2.1.2.2.3 and Article 2.1.5.

  • Audits/Inspections Contractor agrees to permit the County’s Auditor-Controller or the Auditor- Controller’s authorized representative (including auditors from a private auditing firm hired by the County) access during normal working hours to all books, accounts, records, reports, files, financial records, supporting documentation, including payroll and accounts payable/receivable records, and other papers or property of Contractor for the purpose of auditing or inspecting any aspect of performance under this Contract. The inspection and/or audit will be confined to those matters connected with the performance of the Contract including, but not limited to, the costs of administering the Contract. The County will provide reasonable notice of such an audit or inspection. The County reserves the right to audit and verify the Contractor’s records before final payment is made. Contractor agrees to maintain such records for possible audit for a minimum of three years after final payment, unless a longer period of records retention is stipulated under this Contract or by law. Contractor agrees to allow interviews of any employees or others who might reasonably have information related to such records. Further, Contractor agrees to include a similar right to the County to audit records and interview staff of any subcontractor related to performance of this Contract. Should the Contractor cease to exist as a legal entity, the Contractor’s records pertaining to this Contract shall be forwarded to the County’s project manager.

  • Audits and Inspections At any time during normal business hours and as often as the CITY may deem necessary, there shall be made available to the CITY for examination all of CONTRACTOR’S records with respect to all matters covered by this Agreement. CONTRACTOR shall permit the CITY to audit, examine, and make excerpts or transcripts from such records, and to make audits of all contracts, invoices, materials, payrolls, records of personnel, conditions of employment and other data relating to all matters covered by this Agreement.

  • Tests and Inspections 5.2.1 Tests and Inspections shall comply with title 24, part 1, California Code of Regulations, group 1, article 5, section 4-335, and with the provisions of the Specifications.

  • Audit and Inspection 9.1 The Recipient, without charge, will permit any officer or officers of the Commissioner, external auditing bodies (i.e. National Audit Office or Audit Commission) or their nominees, to visit its premises and/or inspect any of its activities and/or to examine and take copies of the Recipient’s books of account and such other documents or records as in such officers' view may relate to the use of Grant. In addition, examinations may be carried out into the economy, efficiency and effectiveness with which the Grant has been used. The Commissioner shall endeavour, but is not obliged, to provide due notice of his/her intent to conduct an audit.

  • RECORDS AND INSPECTIONS Consultant shall maintain full and accurate records with respect to all matters covered under this Agreement for a period of three years after the expiration or termination of this Agreement. City shall have the right to access and examine such records, without charge, during normal business hours. City shall further have the right to audit such records, to make transcripts therefrom and to inspect all program data, documents, proceedings, and activities.
