Authority and Duties of the Resident Inspector. The Resident Inspector will be authorized to inspect all Work done and all products furnished, including preparation, fabrication and manufacture of the products to be used, but the Resident Inspector is not authorized to alter or waive any requirements of the Contract Documents. The Resident Inspector may temporarily reject products or suspend the Work until any question at issue can be referred to and decided by the Engineer. The responsibility of the Contractor is not lessened by the presence of the Resident Inspector.
