Authorization to Commence Work. Vendor shall not commence the Work until Company has received a fully executed Contract Cover Sheet. Any Work performed before such time is at Vendor’s sole risk and expense. Performance Schedule Vendor shall perform the Work to meet the schedule agreed upon by the Parties. The schedule shall be computed by excluding the first calendar day and including the last calendar day of said time frame. If the last calendar day of said time frame is a Sunday or Company-recognized holiday, the time frame shall end on the next Business Day. Vendor shall be responsible for any damages that Company may incur due to delay in the completion of the Work, or delay in the completion of any other obligation of Vendor set forth herein, unless excused under the Force Majeure section.

Authorization to Commence Work. Norfolk shall not commence any Work without first receiving a Notice to Proceed or LONP from the VPA, and only shall perform the Work specifically authorized by such Notice to Proceed or LONP.
Authorization to Commence Work. Contractor shall not commence any work under this Agreement until City has issued formal written authorization to proceed, such as a purchase order, task order or notice to proceed. Such authorization may be for a partial or full scope of work.

  • Supplemental Work Authorizations Before additional work may be performed or additional costs incurred, a change in a work authorization shall be enacted by a written supplemental work authorization in the form identified and attached hereto as Attachment D. Both parties must execute a supplemental work authorization within the period of performance specified in the work authorization.   • Work Authorization By entering into this Agreement, the Judicial Council only authorizes the Criteria Architect to begin its Work on the Phase indicated on the Coversheet of the Agreement. The Judicial Council has the sole and unilateral right to authorize additional Phases, however, those authorizations will be made in the form of an amendment pursuant to this Agreement, authorizing the appropriate Phase and funding specified herein, which must be executed by the Criteria Architect and the Judicial Council.   • Emergency Work Authorizations The State, at its sole discretion, may accept the Engineer's signature on a faxed copy of the work authorization as satisfying the requirements for executing the work authorization, provided that the signed original is received by the State within five business days from the date on the faxed copy.
