Common use of AvMed and Health Care Providers Clause in Contracts

AvMed and Health Care Providers. Neither AvMed nor any of its officers, directors or employees provides Health Care Services to you. Rather, we are engaged in making coverage and benefit decisions under this Contract. By accepting our coverage and benefits, you agree that making such coverage and benefit decisions does not constitute the rendering of Health Care Services and that Health Care Providers rendering those services are not our employees or agents. In this regard, we hereby expressly disclaim any agency relationship, actual or implied, with any Health Care Provider.
