Award Maintenance. The Queensland Industrial Relations Commission State Wage increases awarded during 2014 and the period up to, and including, the nominal expiry date of this agreement shall be absorbed into the wage increases provided by Clause 2.1 of this agreement. It is a term of this agreement that no person covered by this agreement will receive a rate of pay, which is less than the corresponding rate of pay in the relevant parent award.‌ The employer will support union applications to amend any of the parent awards to this agreement to incorporate wage adjustments based upon the MOCA3 during the life of this agreement. The employer will consent to applications made after the nominal expiry date of this agreement to amend any of the parent awards to incorporate wage adjustments and the new classification structure contained within this agreement.

Award Maintenance. 2.6.1 The QIRC State Wage increases awarded during 2016 and the period up to, and including, the `nominal expiry date of this agreement will be absorbed into the wage increases provided by clause 2.1 of this Agreement subject to clause 2.2. 2.6.2 It is a term of this agreement that no person covered by this agreement will receive a rate of pay which is less than the corresponding rate of pay in the relevant award. 2.6.3 The employer will support union applications to amend any of the parent modern awards to incorporate wage adjustments based upon the Queensland Public Health Sector Certified Agreement (No. 89) 20116 (EB89) during the life of EB910. 2.6.4 The employer will consent to applications made after the nominal expiry date of EB9 to amend any of the parent awards to incorporate wage adjustments based on EB9.

(5) The parties agree to undertake discussions during the period of this Agreement to reach consensus on proposed applications to amend relevant awards which will incorporate identified provisions contained in this Agreement. Where agreement is reached, the parties will progress a consent application to the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission as soon as practicable.
Award Maintenance. The employer will support and consent to applications made after the replacement of the Department of Education and Training (Education) Cleaners’ Certified Agreement 2015 to amend the General Employees (Queensland Government Departments) and Other Employees Award-State 2015 to incorporate wage adjustments based upon the Department of Education and Training (Education) Cleaners’ Certified Agreement 2011.
