Backflow and Cross Connection Certification Pay a. Employees in the Public Utilities Department, who obtain and maintain the Backflow or Cross Connection certification shall be eligible to receive the additional compensation of $.50 per hour. Employees must use the certification as part of their employment as determined by the department to be eligible for the additional compensation.
