Common use of Ballot Box Clause in Contracts

Ballot Box. The O.L.C. and the F.O.P. shall be permitted, upon prior written notification to the Chief of Police to place a ballot box at Department headquarters for the purpose of collecting member's ballots on all O.L.C. or F.O.P. issues subject to ballot. Such box shall be the property of the O.L.C. or F.O.P. and neither the ballot box nor its contents shall be subject to the City's review. Such balloting shall be limited to no more than eight (8) times per year. Such balloting shall not interfere with work activities and the ballot box shall be removed as soon as practicable after the issue has been determined.
